Pure Pennsylvania Maple Syrup

North Harford Maple started out as a backyard maple hobby when the Holleran family began tapping the maple trees which grow abundantly in the forests near their home just outside of Harford, Pennsylvania. In the first few seasons, sap was collected in tin pails from a few dozen trees, boiled down over an outdoor wood fire in a large pan, and finished on the kitchen stove. Friends and family deemed the syrup to be delicious and naturally wanted more.
Today, the Holleran family and friends tap more than 700 trees, boil our syrup over a wood fired evaporator, and produce a variety of pure maple syrup and sugar products for sale. Stop by to visit our sugarbush, see the boiling process, and sample some fresh syrup!
